| INSTALLATION: |
Murals are installed like wallpaper, using vinyl over vinyl (VOV) wallpaper adhesive. We
recommend Roman Pro 555® Vinyl Over Vinyl "VOV" Commercial Wallpaper Adhesive which is available at
Sherwin-Williams. VINYL OVER VINYL ADHESIVE MUST BE USED. ANY OTHER TYPE MAY PREVENT PROPER BINDING TO THE WALL.
|
| PREPARATION: |
For best results, walls should be smooth with all holes, cracks, etc filled with spackling
compound and sanded when dry. Wall covering primer MUST be used. We recommend Zinsser's Shieldz® which is available
at Home Depot.

| OPTIONS: |
Options for dealing with textured sheetrock walls: |
| Option 1: |
Murals can be installed over very light texture, however you will see the texture on the surface
of the mural. |
| Option 2: |
Textured walls can be floated out with sheetrock "mud". This should be done by someone with
experience in this procedure. |
| Option 3: |
Textured walls can be covered with 1/8" thick tempered hardboard (masonite-type) using
construction adhesive and screws. Seams and screw holes should be filled with spackling paste and sanded.
For best results, surface should be primed with white flat latex paint. |
