"This mural was inspired by the song lyrics: 'Jesus loves the little children, all the
children of the world, red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in his sight.' I chose to depict the
children in modern clothing to symbolize the fact that the love of Jesus is still reaching out to children today.
I decided to add the children in wheelchairs when I became aware that a number of churches have ministries for
'special needs' children"
